Clients are encouraged to ask questions and disclose any relevant medical information during consultations to ensure personalised care.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients, including models, are entrusted with the responsibility of furnishing precise and comprehensive details concerning their medical background, allergies, existing medications, and any pre-existing conditions that may impact the services rendered. Adherence to both pre and post-treatment directives issued by The Butte Studio is imperative to ensure safety and optimize treatment efficacy. Any alterations in a client’s health status or medication regimen between appointments must be promptly communicated to The Butte Studio to facilitate safe and suitable treatment.
All individuals engaging with The Butte Studio, including models, are bound by the terms and conditions established by our establishment. These guidelines encompass various facets, including appointment arrangement, cancellations, treatment consent, and confidentiality, fostering uniformity and impartiality across all interactions. By availing themselves of our services, models implicitly commit to upholding these terms, fostering transparency and accountability within our institution.
3. Client Responsibility for Accurate Information and Legal Consequences
By utilising the services provided by The Butte Studio, clients and models acknowledge their responsibility to provide accurate and truthful information. Any attempt to provide false information, particularly regarding medical background, allergies, medications, or pre-existing conditions, is strictly prohibited. Such actions could jeopardise the safety and efficacy of the treatments provided. In the event that false information is provided, clients and models will be held liable for any resulting damages or losses.
The Butte Studio reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against any individual or entity found to be in violation of this clause. This may include reporting the incident to relevant Singaporean authorities, pursuing legal proceedings under Singaporean law, and seeking compensation for any incurred damages. Additionally, any defamatory statements or actions that harm the reputation of The Butte Studio will be subject to legal action. Adherence to these terms is mandatory, and failure to comply will result in legal consequences to the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law.
4. Health and Safety
The Butte Studio prioritises the health and safety of both Clients and Employees and maintains strict standards to ensure a safe environment for all. Our commitment to safety begins with the initial consultation, where clients are encouraged to disclose any relevant medical information, allergies, or medications to The Butte Studio before receiving Services. This allows us to tailor treatments to individual needs and identify any potential risks or contraindications. In cases where a client’s health condition poses a risk to themselves or others, The Butte Studio reserves the right to refuse services to ensure the well-being of all parties involved. We appreciate our clients’ cooperation in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
5. Package Acquisition
By purchasing any package, whether for beauty or paramedical services, clients confirm their acceptance of the associated terms and conditions. These packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared unless expressly allowed in the package terms. Typically, refunds for unused portions of packages are not provided, except if The Butte Studio fails to fulfill its obligations as outlined in the package agreement. Any updates to the package terms will be promptly communicated to clients, and their continued use of the package services implies acceptance of these changes. It is the client’s responsibility to thoroughly review and comprehend the package terms before purchase to ensure a mutually beneficial agreement between The Butte Studio and the client.
6. Appointment Booking and Cancellation
At The Butte Studio, we aim to streamline the appointment booking process while upholding fairness and transparency in our policies. Clients are requested to schedule appointments in advance to secure their preferred date and time for services, which can be easily arranged via phone with our paramedical consultants. Appointment slots are allocated based on availability.
Payment for services is expected at the time of booking or as prearranged (including deposits), or upon the completion of the session. We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers. Recognising the possibility of unforeseen circumstances, we kindly ask clients to provide a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for any changes or cancellations. This consideration enables us to accommodate other clients on our waiting list.
In the event of a no-show, where a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice, both our staff and other clients are inconvenienced. Depending on the circumstances and our discretion, clients may be subject to a no-show fee or the loss of their deposit.
Our cancellation and rescheduling policy for appointments booked using package services aligns with that of individual appointments, as stipulated in The Butte Studio’s general terms and conditions.
7. Consent and Liability
Clients must sign a consent form before undergoing any beauty or paramedical procedure, acknowledging the risks, benefits, and potential side effects of the treatment. The Butte Studio shall not be liable for any adverse reactions, complications, or unsatisfactory results resulting from the services provided, except in cases of negligence. Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Butte Studio and its staff from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use of our services.
8. Consent for Photo or Video taking
The Butte Studio may occasionally request permission to take photographs or videos of clients before, during, or after treatments for documentation, promotional, or educational purposes. Clients have the right to decline or revoke consent for photo or video taking at any time. By providing consent, clients acknowledge that photographs or videos may be used in The Butte Studio’s marketing materials, social media channels, website, or educational presentations. The Butte Studio will ensure that any identifiable images or videos of clients are used with discretion and respect for privacy. Clients who grant consent release The Butte Studio from any liability associated with the use of their images or videos for the aforementioned purposes.

Before undergoing any treatment, Clients will receive a comprehensive consultation to discuss their goals, expectations, and any potential risks or contraindications.

The Butte Studio respects the privacy and confidentiality of its Clients and is committed to safeguarding their personal and medical information. Client records and sensitive data are stored securely and accessed only by authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
11. Online Store Terms (if applicable)
The Butte Studio may offer products or services for purchase through an online store, subject to additional terms and conditions governing online transactions. Clients are required to provide accurate and up-to-date information when making online purchases and agree to abide by the terms of sale and use specified by The Butte Studio.

While we strive to achieve optimal results for our Clients, individual outcomes may vary based on factors such as skin type, medical history, and lifestyle habits. The Butte Studio does not guarantee specific results or outcomes from any treatment, and Clients acknowledge that the effectiveness of treatments may be influenced by various factors beyond our control.
13. Educational Use
Client images or videos may be utilised in The Butte Studio’s marketing materials to educate and inform potential clients about our services, treatment techniques, and outcomes. These materials may include but are not limited to, social media posts, website content, and promotional videos. The Butte Studio ensures that client images or videos used for such purposes are anonymized and do not reveal any identifiable features without prior consent.
14. Client Communication
The Butte Studio will maintain open communication with clients regarding the use of their images or videos, providing updates on any planned usage and seeking additional consent if necessary. Clients will be promptly informed of any changes to the terms related to photo or video consent, allowing them the opportunity to update their preferences or withdraw consent if desired.
15. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
Clients agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information or trade secrets disclosed by The Butte Studio during the course of their treatment sessions, including but not limited to treatment techniques, product formulations, or business strategies. Clients understand that the unauthorised disclosure of such information may result in irreparable harm to The Butte Studio and agree to refrain from disclosing, disseminating, or using such information for any purpose other than their own treatment.
16. Payment and Cancellation
Payment for services is typically due at the time of booking or as agreed upon in advance such as deposits, or upon completion of a session, with accepted methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation with less than 72 hours’ notice or a no-show.
Clients are advised to provide a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to accommodate our clients to the best of our ability. While refunds for services rendered are not available, we strive to accommodate clients with alternative options or rescheduled appointments whenever possible. Our cancellation policy aims to ensure fairness to both clients and our business.
17. Complaints and Disputes
The Butte Studio values Client feedback and strives to address any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively. Clients are encouraged to communicate any issues or dissatisfaction with their treatment experience directly to The Butte Studio’s management.
18. General Conditions
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Client and The Butte Studio and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral. The Butte Studio reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, with any changes taking effect immediately upon posting on The Butte Studio’s website or other official channels.
19. Accuracy, Completeness and Timeliness of Information

22. Protection of Client Identity
The Butte Studio understands the importance of protecting client identity and will take reasonable measures to ensure that identifiable features are not disclosed in photographs or videos, unless explicit consent is obtained. Clients have the right to request anonymisation or pixelation of their images or videos to further safeguard their identity, which The Butte Studio will accommodate to the best of its abilities.
23. Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Butte Studio from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from the use of their images or videos, including but not limited to claims of privacy violations or unauthorised use. Clients acknowledge that they have voluntarily provided consent for the use of their images or videos and release The Butte Studio from any liability associated with such usage.
24. Exclusivity
Clients acknowledge that The Butte Studio may use client images or videos in conjunction with other promotional materials or campaigns without exclusivity. The Butte Studio reserves the right to feature client images or videos alongside those of other clients in marketing materials, social media posts, or advertisements, without requiring additional consent from individual clients.
25. Modification and Adaptation
The Butte Studio may modify or adapt client images or videos as necessary for promotional or educational purposes, including cropping, resizing, or applying filters or effects. Clients understand that such modifications or adaptations do not alter their consent or release The Butte Studio from compliance with the terms outlined in this agreement.
26. Third-Party Engagement
The Butte Studio may engage third-party entities, such as marketing agencies or media outlets, to assist with the distribution or promotion of client images or videos. Clients acknowledge that The Butte Studio may share client images or videos with third parties for the aforementioned purposes, with the understanding that The Butte Studio remains responsible for ensuring compliance with this agreement.

The Butte Studio respects the confidentiality of client information and complies with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore. Client information, including personal and medical details, will only be used for the purpose of providing services and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, except as required by law. Clients may request access to their personal information held by The Butte Studio and may request corrections if necessary.
28. Intellectual Property
All content, including but not limited to logos, designs, treatment protocols, and educational materials, are the intellectual property of The Butte Studio and may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without permission. Clients may not use The Butte Studio’s intellectual property for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
29. Termination and Amendments
The Butte Studio reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to our services for any client who violates these terms and conditions or engages in inappropriate behaviour. The Butte Studio may amend or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the client’s responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes.
30. Safety and Hygiene
The Butte Studio maintains stringent safety and hygiene standards to ensure the well-being of clients and staff. All equipment and instruments used during treatments are properly sanitised, sterilised, and disposed of according to industry standards. Clients are encouraged to voice any concerns regarding cleanliness, safety, or discomfort during their visit.
31. Ownership and Usage Rights
All photographs or videos taken by The Butte Studio during client treatment sessions are the exclusive property of The Butte Studio. The Butte Studio retains full ownership and usage rights over these images or videos, including the right to edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display them for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes.

All images used on this website are sourced from one of the following sources: Pexels.com, self-shot by The Butte Studio personally, or taken by hired photographers. Ownership and usage rights for these images vary accordingly.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Singapore. In the event of a dispute, clients agree to resolve the matter through mediation or arbitration in accordance with the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) or Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) rules.
35. Limitation of Liability
The Butte Studio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of client images or videos, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or reputational harm. Clients acknowledge that their use of The Butte Studio’s services and consent for photo or video taking is voluntary and at their own risk.
36. Waiver of Rights
Clients waive any moral rights or similar rights they may have in their images or videos, including the right to attribution or integrity, to the extent permitted by law. Clients agree not to assert any claims or demands against The Butte Studio based on the exercise of the rights granted under this agreement.
37. Amendments
The Butte Studio reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice. Clients are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions to ensure compliance with the most current version.
